Last month, the forests of Southern Palawan echoed with laughter, learning, and community as BioChamps 3.0, a youth camp rooted in environmental advocacy, came to life. Led by the dedicated partners of the Green Livelihoods Alliance (GLA) and the Forest Foundation Philippines, the event brought together young indigenous leaders to deepen their connection with their homeland—and strengthen their role in protecting it.
We at JC Bags and Prints are incredibly grateful to have been chosen by Ms. Cynthia Arre to produce some of the Camp Kit essentials—custom-designed bandannas and tote bags—used by the participants throughout the camp. While our part may have been small in the grand scheme of this remarkable initiative, it was a meaningful opportunity to contribute to something with lasting impact.
What made this collaboration even more special was the Co-Creation Workshop that shaped the designs of the kits Facilitaced.and joined by the Green Livelihoods Alliance network in Palawan. This session invited the youth themselves to express their identity, hopes, and cultural roots through visual storytelling. Their drawings and insights were transformed into the final artwork printed on each tote and bandanna—turning everyday items into powerful emblems of pride and purpose.
Seeing photos of the youth proudly wearing the kits—walking through the land they call home—was truly heartwarming. These items, we hope, are not just functional keepsakes, but daily reminders of their voices, their heritage, and their vital role in stewarding Palawan’s rich forests.
Projects like BioChamps 3.0 remind us why we do what we do. At JC Bags and Prints, we believe that custom products can carry more than just logos—they can carry stories, values, and movements. We're honored to support organizations that prioritize inclusion, creativity, and environmental responsibility.
